Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Brandon, SD

Shifts Available: 8-Hour and 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Schedule: Full-time, part-time, or PRN status. Including every other weekend

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated team. If you're a caring and skilled LPN looking for a rewarding career in senior care, we'd love to have you on board.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise CNA, CMA, Nurse Aide staff members in performing care and administering medicine.

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

- Document resident care and maintain accurate records.

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans.

- Assist with resident assessments and monitor changes in conditions.

- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Requirements:

- Current South Dakota LPN license.

- Strong clinical and assessment skills.

- Ability to work 8-hour or 12-hour shifts as required.

- Availability to work full-time, including every other weekend.

- Compassion and dedication to delivering high-quality care.

Language Requirements:

Proficient in spoken and written English.

Ability to effectively communicate with residents and team members in English is essential.

Working Conditions:

- Healthcare Facility: You will be working in our healthcare facility, providing care to our residents/patients.

- Shifts: We offer a variety of shift options, including 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, with schedules that include day, evening, and night shifts. Weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis.

- Patient Care: As an LPN, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.

- Physical Demands: The role may require physical tasks, such as lifting or transferring patients, and standing for extended periods.

- Emotional Support: Providing emotional support to patients and their families is an integral part of this role. Compassion and empathy are essential.

- Infection Control: Strict adherence to infection control protocols is required to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

- Safety: Ensuring the safety of patients and staff is our top priority, and following safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

- Regulatory Compliance: You will be expected to adhere to all state and federal regulations governing nursing practice and healthcare.
